Casting for Film, TV, Commercials & Animation
in Spain and internationally
Hi! My name is María, and I’m a casting professional with over four years of experience in casting commercials and fiction (films, TV, animation, short films) projects. I started my career in the United States before moving back to Spain in 2024, which is why I work in both Spanish and English.
My first experience in casting was working on student short films while studying Sociology and Film, TV and Media Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. After graduating, I joined the casting team at Disney Branded Television and Disney Television Animation, where I spent a year working on TV shows such as Phineas and Ferb, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and Goosebumps.
I’m currently based between Madrid and Barcelona, working as a casting director and casting assistant on film, TV, and commercials in Spain and internationally.
